Community Engagement Advisor

Reporting to the Director, Communications & Engagement, the Community Engagement Advisor supports the development and execution of key communications strategies and manages relationships with Alberta Health Services and community stakeholders. This highly collaborative role interacts with teams across the organization to improve health care storytelling, support impact reporting and help identify funding opportunities. Reporting directly to the Director, Development and Campaigns, the Development Officer is responsible for ensuring the success in Calgary Health Foundation’s Major Gifts Program. The Development Officer will be responsible for advancing the mission of Calgary Health Foundation by fostering strong relationships with donors and friends of the Foundation and will generate philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and foundations by managing a portfolio of donors and prospects.

Planned Giving Manager

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Giving, and in close collaboration with the Philanthropy team, the Planned Giving Officer works to bild, manage and grow a portfolio of donors committed to planned giving. This role is focused on connecting donors with the resources and information they need to make a legacy contribution to support health care, research and wellness through Calgary Health Foundation. Working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, this is a dynamic role that will contribute significantly to the long-term success and sustainability of the organization.

Development Officer – Mid-level Giving

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Giving, the Development Officer, Mid-Level Giving manages and implements a robust mid-level donor program with expected annual giving range of $1,000+ to enhance the pipeline of major donor prospects. This individual is responsible for actively engaging with and managing donor portfolio. This means implementing effective cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies to grow program revenues and expand the donor file. Mid-level Giving bridges the gap between annual giving and major gifts. It also helps to build a prospect pool of potential donors for major and planned gifts. The Development Officer, Mid-Level Giving works in collaboration with all departments and stakeholders to ensure that donors can expect a seamless and rewarding philanthropic experience when giving to Calgary Health Foundation.
