Avocado tomato salsa

Hot summer evenings are made for a healthy delicious snack on the patio! Whole grain crackers topped with this delicious salsa can help meet your goal of more daily fruits and vegetables. Thanks to our partners at Alberta Health Services for providing this delicious recipe.

2 cups of tomatoes, finely chopped
1 medium avocado, diced
1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
1/3 cup green onion, minced
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
2 tbsp of canola oil
3 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1 clover of garlic, minced
1/4 chili pepper flakes
1/2 tsp salt

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
