The Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk and Wheel is back in-person on Sunday, May 14th. Gather up your family and friends to celebrate moms this year while supporting Calgary’s Neonatal Intensive Care Units through Calgary Health Foundation. The Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk and Wheel is designed for everyone to participate!

Sport Chek and Calgary Health Foundation are proud to honour past traditions, and build new traditions, together.

Let’s celebrate Mom together, and support our Neonatal Intensive Care Units! Sport Chek is excited to provide you and your fellow run, walk, and wheelers a participant swag bag. Learn more about this event’s details here!

We hope you join us in celebrating mom in our ongoing Mother’s Day tradition. For nearly five decades, the Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk and Wheel has been one of Calgary’s largest family fundraising events supporting both Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities and the Calgary Health Foundation. This year, participants can expect amazing swag bags full of goodies and many other surprises along the way!

The 2023 Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk & Wheel supports Calgary Health Foundation and Newborn Care: Calgary Health Foundation funds breakthrough investments, like giving every newborn a fighting chance. We’re ensuring the one in eight babies born prematurely in our community have access to the best technologies available, and we’re actively addressing Alberta’s higher than average preterm birth rate through applied research. Your participation and support through the Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk, & Wheel will support our ongoing support of neonatal intensive care units.

Every step you take in the Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk and Wheel is a step for baby Kaveer

A young infant and a dog on a couch, each in a bear costume with pumpkins surrounding themWhen Rippy found out she had diabetes, she was pregnant. The diagnosis was a surprise to her and her family. Due to her diagnosis, her doctor told her that she would have a high-risk pregnancy, but when her cervix started dilating at just 20 weeks, it was the second big surprise for Rippy during her short pregnancy.
