Your gift today can save a woman facing heart disease.

It could keep your friend, wife, or daughter alive to experience more of life’s precious moments.

John Bowman unexpectedly lost his 67-year-old mother, Barbara, to heart disease, despite no prior history. Her death left a painful void in his family’s life.

To honour her memory and help all women, he’s asking for your support in establishing Alberta’s first Women’s Cardiovascular Health Clinic in Calgary—a place dedicated to closing the major gaps in women’s heart care through expert treatment, research, education, and rehabilitation. John believes his mother might still be here if such a Clinic had existed.

Will you join John in making women’s heart health a priority—before more lives are lost? Together, we can create a future where no woman suffers in silence, every symptom is heard, and preventable loss is a thing of the past.

Please watch Dr. Roopinder Sandhu, MD, MPH, Director of the Women’s Cardiovascular Health Initiative, discuss Calgary’s urgent need for a Women’s Cardiovascular Health Clinic.

You can give a voice to women’s cardiac care.

Every 16 minutes, heart disease claims a woman’s life in Canada. In fact, it is the number one killer of women worldwide.

Despite this alarming statistic, awareness and understanding of women’s heart health remain critically low. We need your help to change this. Your gift today could be the difference that saves a woman’s life tomorrow.

Women are more likely to present with 3 or more symptoms in addition to chest pain.

Women’s heart health isn’t only a woman’s issue.

It’s a shared responsibility.

Together, we can make a difference.
