Recipe of the Month – Banana Mango Smoothie

Ingredients:
• Banana 1 small
• Mango chunks* 1 cup
• Avocado chunks* ½ cup
• Chopped spinach* 1 cup
• Plain, 0-2% Greek yogurt ½ cup
• 2% Milk 1 cup
*Note: This recipe uses frozen Mango, Avocado, and Spinach, but fresh can be substituted

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender, and process until smooth.
  2. Serve cold.

Culinary Notes:
This recipe provides high amounts of protein and fiber and is suitable on the full fluid diet. This recipe can be adapted for your preference. Try it with a variety of fruit and vegetables, a milk alternative, or even
spices (like cinnamon) or a flavour extract (like vanilla) to find the combination you like best.
